Cinque Terre Engagement Photographer | Wandering through Vernazza and Manarola
The Cinque Terre (five towns) is a string of five fishing villages perched high on the Italian Riviera (region Liguria) which until recently were linked only by mule tracks and accessible only by rail or water.
Early morning (very early because I arrived in Manarola at 6:30 am!) in Cinque Terre was a mystic experience! Not because I was sleepy and without any coffee (maybe yes…), but for the atmosphere that you feel when you walk in the narrow streets, breathing the sea air, with the first workers that speak each others in a very strong accent while pick up and transport boxes full of fruits or vegetables for the restaurants and bars. I decided to take pictures early in the morning in these places because you can fully enjoyed them at that time. No tourists, no noises, no crowd… just you and the experience of these magical places. And yes… if you want to take pictures there in Summer, maybe early morning is the best solution if you don’t want to die under a very hot sun.
These guys from Los Angeles, Hannah and Woo, was so lovely and kind. We decided together to start from Manarola to take pictures on the cliffs and around the town and then with a little local train, move to Vernazza to finish the service at the beach and through the typical streets.
