It’s very important for me to “escape” sometimes from wedding photography to personal project as a photographer because I’ve inside of me a lot of things and stories to tell that goes beyond my work (that I adore) and that sometimes can’t help me to express.
“The Knives” was born from a collaboration with my friend and colleague Roberto Panciatici this is our second time together in a project like this (you can see it HERE)
The same model (the great Viola), the same location (Teatro del Silenzio -Theather of Silence- in Tuscany), but different stories to tell.
Well, that’s my story.
Knives like something bad, something dark that oppresses you. And knives that become a black veil, and more than you’re getting up and more than you’re stifled under it.
It’s a fine balance between Oblivion and Salvation, and only with great willpower, you could taste the happiness, the light, the Life.
Darkness is a necessary step to truly enjoy the Light.
“My body is a cage that keeps me
From dancing with the one I love
But my mind holds the key
Of fear and self-doubt
It’s a hollow play
But they’ll clap anyway”
(Arcade Fire -My Body is a Cage)
