Intimate Wedding in Val d’Orcia | Locanda in Tuscany Wedding
The first thing that comes to your mind when you think about Tuscany is surely the peaceful image of the soft waving hills of Val d’Orcia colored by the stunning tones of its golden harvest fields and we are not surprised that so many couples from around the world choose this charming valley ( declared a Unesco world heritage site) to celebrate their wedding.
We have to admit that Val d’orcia is one of our favorite places to take pictures, even if we live in Tuscany since we were born and capturing the wedding of Hayley and Corey at Locanda in Tuscany was a pleasure.
This lovely couple from Australia decided to celebrate an intimate wedding ceremony with no guests, just with their two children as little (and supercute!) bridesmaid and groomsman. Everything was emotional, funny and relaxing at the same time, simply being around this beautiful family, surrounded by the Tuscan countryside was a really positive experience to us, it’s moments like this that make us love what we do!
Who said that such a beautiful evocative scenery could end even better than it started? After a windy ceremony, a heavy storm set in for a few minutes and a breathtaking double rainbow came out from the clouds.
