Quebec Road Trip
Montreal
This is a journey we will never forget. Inside the nature, inside the urban jungle, inside the typical Canadian foliage.
Montreal is a cosmopolitan city where North America‘s largest concentration of historic buildings rubs shoulders with a towering modern metropolis. A very strong French influence (and French-speaking) give an European shade to this immense Canadian reality. It is considered the cultural capital of Canada with a lot of street arts and street artists, art galleries, Art exhibitions, a lot of neighbourhoods (ChinaTown , Gay Village, Little Italy, Quartier des Spectacles -this is where people flock for opera, music concerts, many of the popular indoor and outdoor festivals, comedy shows, digital art displays, art exhibitions in Musée d’Art Contemporain de Montréal-, quartier latin, the Underground city (to survive the hard Canadian winters), quartier international, Plateau Mont-Royale, Vieux-Montreal and vieuw-port (the old city and the old port), the DownTown (le centre ville). In 23 days we visited much of the city, but we should be at least a year to see everything, to live the city in every aspect.
Quebec Road Trip
To continue our Quebec Road Trip , we are going to the Mont Morency Falls, the picturesque Mont Tremblant, in the Parc Omega Natural Park, and we went down to Vermont to see the culmination of Canadian foliage, la Sucrerie de La Montagne (a hut in the Canadian Forest; our personal “Chocolate Factory” … or where traditional maple syrup is made!!, and our personal “Willy Wonka” was Steven, a canadian woodburner who explained all the phases that lead to syrup, great experience!)… October is a beautiful month to visit this Canadian region, it is not hot, the climate is mild and begins to cool, the colors are beautiful. All the maples change colors and green light become orange, red vermilion, giving a joy to the eyes. We had never seen these colors in the wild nature before. WOW!
Canada has remained in our hearts; we have seen so many fantastic places and locations where we can take beautiful photos for a wedding or an engagement session… a typical rustic wedding in Canada… wow!! It would be a dream to make a wedding in Canada! (so… if you’re interested, you can contact us here , we are destination wedding photographers!)
We know that exist “Africa Blues”… We are sure we were affected by “Quebec Blues” when we came back home!
It was difficult to choose photos, below you find some shots of our road trip!
