You begin to understand how crazy San Francisco is when you spend almost ten spring days enjoying the California sun and blue sky and then you suddenly meet the fastest Fog bank you’ve ever seen!
When the fog wafts through the city everything is blessed by a magically gloomy atmosphere, everything seems to become so mysterious and uncanny. We have to admit that we definitely loved this comfortably creepy mood, it was like the Fog was waiting for us to show up, we felt so lucky to photograph this intimate wedding during a day like this.
Fun fact: do you know that San Francisco Fog has a 200K follower Instagram account called Karl the Fog? :)) (this is not a joke, click HERE)
“Karl” was so thick we could barely see the Golden Gate Bridge, even if we were in the Torpedo Wharf area for the symbolic ceremony, just about a mile far from the bridge, that’s the reason why the wedding started a little bit later than we planned, hoping for a little light to come out from the clouds. But it didn’t happen, so we finally let Karl join the party! 🙂
An unexpected foggy wedding for us! We can say that we are so proud and happy about the result: pretty evocative at the beginning with all that fog during the ceremony and “urban style” when we walked through the street of san Francisco (Lombard street and Columbus Avenue) to photograph the love of Lesya and Nick!
Thank you guys for being so spontaneous and for your good vibrations, you’ve been amazing!
