Wedding in Villa Vistarenni

I always believed that a photographer’s growing and maturing process has to go through a comparison with the work of his colleagues. These must be pals, partners, people you esteem personally and professionally. Having said this, the opportunity to be flanking Riccardo Pieri, such a good photographer and friend, has truly been unique. A good part of our job is to remain curious, inquisitive, to constantly search for new sources of inspiration; being a “second” to Riccardo has given me the opportunity to stay a little bit more hidden, in the background, and that allowed me to be more audacious and to try “different” things and perspectives. That’s why, during this wedding in Villa Vistarenni, I allowed myself to work more freely, to spend time to look for the little things, the details.

Japanese Wedding in Florence
Our Wedding Season 2016 starts with this romantic Japanese Wedding in Florence. The LoveStory of Mika and Tsubasa, two sweet guys who love Florence and decided to get married in Tuscany, starts in Fattoria Lavacchio, a farm near Florence. Although it was January, the weather was great. Blue sky and spring temperatures. Lucky guys :) A charming civil ceremony in the farm cellars with the Tuscan wine aroma, with the Tuscan countryside all around us... this is the best for two japanese boys who love this mood: a typical country wedding in Tuscany. The ceremony, among the huge and suggestive wine barrels, was intense and emotional... wit ...

Cinque Terre Engagement Photographer | Wandering through Vernazza and Manarola
Cinque Terre Engagement Photographer Cinque Terre Engagement Photographer. The Cinque Terre (five towns) is a string of five fishing villages perched high on the Italian Riviera (region Liguria) which until recently were linked only by mule tracks and accessible only by rail or water. Early morning (very early because I arrived in Manarola at 6:30 am!) in Cinque Terre was a mystic experience! Not because I was sleepy and without any coffee (maybe yes...), but for the atmosphere that you feel when you walk in the narrow streets, breathing the sea air, with the first workers that speak each others in a very strong accent while pick up an ...

Timeless Engagement Session | Kevin and Nicole
Timeless Engagement Session       Timeless Engagement Session.    Nicole and Kevin from Boston. Why "timeless"? Because I wanted to focus only on them, with no one else, without any contexts. All dynamic photos, very few poses, all spontaneous and natural situations. I tried to isolate them from the city, from the many tourists who are in Florence at this time. Nicole, at first, was very shy. "It's normal" -i said to her- "don't worry and enjoy! So, nobody knows you here in Florence!!" So... this is the result. I'm very happy because I've tried new things, a different approach to the couple, cinematic shots, a different photo retouc ...
